Moon River and Me
When Charlie (Charlotte, to those who’d appreciate a healthy dose of violence) drags her sadistic, snarky attitude overseas to a therapeutic facility, she has no idea that her alcohol and drug dependant satisfactions will be replaced with cat-piss-like apple juice. Noah, an equally unprepared psychotherapist, has to admit that Charlie is one of the most interestingly infuriating personality complexes he’s ever had the fortune (or misfortune) to meet. After a choppy beginning, though, they begin to warm up to each other and realize that past afflictions have granted them with a common empathy for others. Being advanced in said empathy, Noah starts to recognize a soft side Charlie rarely shows that he hopes he will eventually be able to reveal to her. Will Charlie’s standoffish behaviors be relinquished by the power of old movies and “therapy,” or not?
